We are!

Our proof sheet was sent in April, '04, and we still don't have our albums yet. We're very happy with our proofs, it's just the lack of communication w/our protographer that upsets us. Phone calls and e-mails haven't been returned. As a last resort, I faxed him a letter telling him of our frustrations. He then sent to my e-mail my picture choices for the albums.

We were hoping to give the parents their books on Christmas, but I don't hold out much hope.

STILL waiting for our album, we handed in our album choices right before we moved in July and they said the album and reprints would be ready for the holidays.....and Christmas is a week away....

We are too! They could not schedule us till January for an appt (i called in early November) and I keep calling regarding an issue and no one calls me back. Its like they hold you hostage after they are paid. There should be something where you pay the final $1000 after you receive EVERYTHING. I think its ridiculous that you have to pay to get your proofs.....

I'm sorry if you are having problems with your photograhper

I have been very happy in dealing with our photographer (DUET) throughout the entire process.. Any concerns, problems or questions I've had for them have always been resolved in a relatively timely fashion.

I finally met with them last night for our album, and they were incredibly helpful and took time to go over everything with us. It gave me so much faith in the final product for our album, though of course I will wait and see just how long and how well everything turns out over these next few months before I am fully able to answer how well everyting turned out (though I truly have faith it will be wonderful)

we havent had a problem at all - the one thing that is running smoothest is the photographer - he had our proofs ready in two weeks - ( we werent even back from our honeymoon yet)
he did a whole batch of folios for us to give to family for christmas in 4 days and we just turned in album pictures and he says the parents albums will be ready in 6 weeks and the first mock up pf our album will be rady to proof in 5.
now if we could just decide what footage we dont like in our video we could get that turned in.
goodness this has been the only smooth thing so far - LOL

i am so sorry to anyone having a problem with their photographer - i think the pictures are the most important part of everything - because when all is said and done it is the one thing you have to hold onto

my goodness! i'm having communication problems with our photo vendor also! when we signed on with the company they were gung ho positive on everything! a yes there, a sure thing there and BAM! - we're in communicado hiatus! my hub threatened to call his credit card company to refute the charges and the very next day we recieved their phone call. altho we were hoping our albums will be done before the holidays, we're happy things are more productive now than ever before.

ME! I hate our photo guy now! We already got our album, adn we love it we really do but we are STIL! ordering pictures for our home and for both of our parents albums...getting him to return a call is next to impossible! I ordered an 11x14 in May and it just came in...sad that it takes 6 months for a picture to come in. I can't wait until we are done ordering pictures from this man so I can let him know how much his communication skills lack.

Yes! We had trouble communicating with our photographer or his studio after our wedding. We did not receive any communication when our proofs were ready, our albums were ready, or the length of time our finished product would be due. I must have called them a million times. It upsets me as we already paid nearly $2K for both photography and videography services and wait until nearly our first wedding anniversary for our final products.

Wedding Date: August 24, 2002
Received proofs: Mid-September 2002
Received thank you cards: one week before Thanksgiving 2002
Received edited video: One week before Thanksgiving 2002
Received albums and all enlargements, loose photos: July 2003
Received un-edited video (raw footage): 2004

Oh heck yes! I just finally gave up on them about 10 months ago. Once they had my money, they were just horrible to deal with.

Edited to add...I do have my album so it's not like I didn't get it or anything like that. Just everything else that could've gone wrong did.

I am so sorry to hear that you are having problems. I just picked up our proofs and Sherwood Triart has been wonderful. They are really professional and nice to work with.

Our photographer was the biggest disappointment. They were supposed to be so reputable. I actually think the the older generation handed the business down to the next generation and now the business is going to H@!! in a hand basket. They never call us back, our proofs were very disappointing, we paid top dollar and feel really robbed. I can't wait till all our dealing with them are over. Its been nothing but a headache....
