Anyone honeymoon in the South pacific?? Tahiti, Fiji, Bora Bora???

We got married last weekend and are planning our honeymoon for December. Since I am a teacher we decided it was best to go during Christmas break instead of taking off from school for so long.

Did anyone honeymoon in Tahiti or Fiji or anywhere in the South Pacific besides Hawaii. If so how was it, where do you stay?? I would just like recommendations?

My DH and I honeymooned in Tahiti (Moorea and Bora Bora). It was amazing....the trip of a lifetime (although we do want to go back again someday!

) The resorts we stayed at are listed in my profile. I have also heard great things about Bora Bora Nui (it is a brand new resort) and The Beachcomber in Moorea. FM me if you have any specific questions.

we did

we went in july and it was beyond amazing. but i would look into some websites and check out the weather conditions in december. i tihnk that was their rainy season if i'm not mistaken..

we stayed at the intercontinental beachcombers on tahiti, moorea and bora bora in the overwater bungalows.

I went to Tahiti/Bora Bora/Moorea about three years ago. We stayed in the Park Royals in over the water bungalows on all three islands. It was worth every penny we spent to go. We booked through the internet. I would highly recommend it.

Our honeymoon was going to be in the Cook Islands but we decided to get married sooner and our vacation to Grenada became our honeymoon. The Cook Islands are supposed to be really beautiful as well and not as expensive as French Polynesia.

I went to Bora Bora and Moorea this past June/July for my honeymoon and it was a trip of a lifetime. It is so beauitful there. We stayed at the Pearl Resorts on both Islands in Overwater bungalows. Fm if you have any specific questions.

Tahiti, Bora Bora

We went this past June to Moorea, Bora Bora, Raiatea and Huahine (islands of French Polynesia).

We stayed at the Beachcomber in Moorea and the Bora Bora Lagoon Resort in Bora Bora and the Sofitel in Tahiti. All I can say is the entire trip was amazing and we are counting down the days till we can go back!!!
