anyone read Something Borrowed and The Help? movie versions coming in 2011

Kate Hudson is filming as Darcy / Ginnifer Goodwin as Rachel in Something Borrowed

Emma Stone is Skeeter and Bryce Dallas Howard in The Help

What do you think of these castings??

I think Kate Hudson will be so similar to the role she played in Bride Wars, so I'm a little underwhelmed, though I think she fits the part physically. I HATE Ginnifer Goodwin!

I also don't see Emma Stone taking on such a big role as Skeeter, I feel like Skeeter is more gawky and nerdy

I can't wait to see Something Borrowed. I am not sure how I feel about the casting...but I will definitely go see it!

I have no input here... but just wanted to say im reading something borrowed right now... about 1/2 way through it.... thank god i didnt read it while we were engaged

ETA: Saw bride wars and it seems like a similar role for kate hudson... i think it'll fit her fine

And as for rachel... gennifer played a similar naive role in hes just not that into you so im sure she'll fit the part as well...

I just finished something borrowed and something blue! I really liked those books and will def be seeing the movies. I never saw bride wars but in general I could see Kate Hudson playing Darcy pretty well...not sure about Gennifer b/c I never saw a movie with her in it! But I am still looking forward to the movie :)

I really liked the book Something Borrowed I hope the movie is good because sometimes when they turn a book into a movie its bad. I did not read The Help my sister said I should read it. Has anyone read it? Is it good?

I haven't read the books but I did hear that they filmed scenes for the movie in Centerport. Both at a private home, and at the Mill Pond Inn, just down the road from the Thatched Cottage!

i cant wait to see something borrowed. i think the casting seems to be a good match for their personalities... and yeah, maybe kate's role will be a lil bit like bride wars. but i thought it was a cute movie.
