I am getting rid of like 3 bags of clothes including some jackets and coats. Normally I would just donate them but since DH and I are trying so hard to save I thought I could make a few bucks. I really don't want to do ebay. Anyone know of a place?

there is this place by me called PLato's closet. You sell them your gently used clothes. Dont know if they have any in NY, but check on their website...

Yeah there used to be one in Selden but it closed a few years ago.

if you wait till its a little nicer maybe try a garage sale- I sold some of mine at one at my parents house and made a little bit of money

There are ebay stores. They do everything for you. You just bring them the items.
Or as the PP said, a yard sale is your best bet

I just went through my closet today and got rid of a bunch of clothes and shoes. My sister took some, but I still have a lot left. I was going to dump them in a bin, but now I'm thinking to have yard sale in a few weeks. I have a lot of things I want to get rid of.
