Anyone send flowers to their hubby's workplace? -- UPDATE!!!!!!!!

He always does it for me, well this V-day I won't be working, so I think that for Friday I will send him some Red roses or something.

Anyone else do this? I figure it might be a nice change for our first V-day as hubby and wife.

Thoughts?

PS I was thinking of something like this: (not too girly. And yes Shamma - I will order from our favorite spot -- FLOWER DEN

I would LOVE to but my DH reports into one substation and can be sent anywhere in the 5 boroughs (sp?) or Westchester so I can't.

ETA: that is a BEAUTIFUL arrangement!

My DH would probably kill me if I sent him flowers to his job.... he gets embarrased over stuff like that....

Nah, DH works on the road so I can't send anything to him. Although I bring home flowers for him on special occasions. I like having the flowers in the house so we can both enjoy them

Those are pretty! Fh would kill me though- once I put a love note in his lunch and he got made fun of.

Nope - he's on a trading desk and they are ruthless! One guy is being teased about his wife sending balloons for his birthday three years ago.

No way...he'd kill me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Besides, he wouldn't appreciate it at all...he's just not the flowers type.

DH also works on a trading floor and they are always teasing each other.
I really, really want to send them.
I may anyway, and see what happens

He once got teased b/c I called him at like 8:55 am, and they officially start work at 9 am. They are so silly over there

If he loves flowers, then I say send them. Don't worry about embarrasing him at work...sure, he may get teased...but, that will be fun and he'll love that you sent him such beautiful flowers!!!

I sent flowers to Tom once at work - He loved it, but he did get teased.

my DH would freak if i sent him flowers or balloons at work. he would be too embarassed to really enjoy them.

if you think that your hubby won't be embarassed, then definitely send them!!!

for his birthdy once, I sent him a dozen balloons. He would kill me if I sent him flowers.

My DH would kill me too. I once mention it and he was like don't you dare!!!! I will be the flower sender in this marriage. So I just enjoy mine when they come

I think that is an AWESOME idea!!!!!

So what if he gets teased, they will think your hubby is THE MAN!!!

I have bought my hubby flowers before- it goes both ways, men like to be romanced too.
