Re: anyone use le cruset?
I got them! They are AWESOME. Everything cooked in Le Crueset tastes amazing. I can't explain it, but everything cooked in thos pots tastes incredible.....totally different then other pans. They are heavy, heirloom items that you'll have forever. VERY HEAVY, and NOT low maintenence. But if you are into good food......there is no other option. I LOVE MY LE CRUESET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: anyone use le cruset?
what do you mean by bakers? the ceramics, or the enameled cast iron?
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my le creuset enameled cast iron casserole pots. I have a 5 L and an 8L covered casserole, and a covered 'buffet casserole' (which is like a deep frying pan with a lid). we make stews and obviously casseroles in those casserole pots, and curries in the buffet pan, and they always turn out great. very little moisture is lost during the cooking process, and clean up isn't very difficult.
I've never owned any of their ceramic baking dishes....

Re: anyone use le cruset?
thanks for the y reply girls. Well I have an all clad set and I love them and have been sooooo extremely happy with them. But I love the way the le creusets look I just needed to know if they cook well. I want to get a few pieces, just want to make sure they will be worth the investment.
So now I am a happy girl- I could tell my mom to get me one for christmas

Re: anyone use le cruset?
I have a european version of allclad, and lecreuset... they really serve 2 different purposes...
let me supply you with an excuse to get them...
lecreuset casserole pots are perfect for simmering stews and other things that cook long and slow..... they keep in all the moisture... making everything succulent
