I have to get disposable cameras to put on each table and I wanted to know if you found them to be good like the name brand ones. If so, what was the name of them?

Re: Anyone use the disposable wedding cameras?
I got the Kodak wedding cameras w/ 15 exposures. They were great!! Every picture was taken and every camera was returned!! BJ's has a 5 pack of them for under $30.

I belong to Costco. They must have them there too. I'll look there. Thank you.

Hey Kathi, we had the same cameras and almost the same wedding day -- what else do we have in common?? LOL
Ditto what Kathi said -- we paid $25 a box. And if you get them developed there or Costco or Sam's, it's cheap because there's only 15 exp!! At Sam's, the 10th camera (or was it the 11th?) is free!

Re: Anyone use the disposable wedding cameras?
yes we did. Our DJ announced they were on the table...some tables used them extensively...all 27 exposures or whatever they were.
However, the camera on my MIL's table was in front of her, and since she is too vain to put her glasses on, never picked it up to see what it was!! At the end of the night she hands it to me and asks, 'Can I give this away?' HELLO??!!! NO YOU CANNOT! Then she told me she didn't know what it was (huh?) and it was unused. I guess the table card telling people it was a camera was too explicit.
We are picking up the pics tomorrow, and may be the ONLY shots, accept for the table shot, we have of some guests at the reception (see my post entitled: got our proofs and have a question). I would definitely get them, and mention them as you do table rounds. I am sorry we didn't mention them ourselves as I think people tune out the DJ at times, or put an outgoing family member in charge of getting people to use them.

Re: Anyone use the disposable wedding cameras?
Here is my update on the table cameras:
DEFINITELY DO THEM! We got 125 pics back today and had some great shots! Many many many that the photographer didn't. I think we now have great shots of ALL of our guests, so these cameras were definitely worth the money to me. I think we only got one silly shot, which I think was an accident, of 2 pairs of womans' feet! Either that or a guest has a secret foot fettish
