Anyone wear their hair down?

Anyone wear their hair down?

My hair is just beyond shoulder length. Its getting a tad too long IMO, but my FH loves it long. I told him I would let it grow till the wedding and then it goes to shoulder length.
If I spend all this time growing it, I really don't want to have an updo.
My problem is that I'm worried that I'll be too hot with it down.
Can anyone relate?

I wore my hair down - check out my profile for a picture. My wedding was in April of last year, so it was not too hot outside - mid 60's, but even inside, I never felt warm at all.

I have long hair, up to the middle of my back. I wore it down, (w/o a veil) in June, it was a hot day, but I had a strapless dress on.

Another Q
What did you wear in your hair - Karen - its hard to see what you have - is it a comb or tiara?

The veil was attached with a decoative comb, about 4-5 inches across. I wore it all night and it was comfortable.

I did my hair myself, using hot rollers and setting spray, then used a handfull of bobby pins to pull it up a bit at the sides, and to help secure the comb.

I wore my hair mostly down and by the end of the evening, I was feeling a little warm - from all that dancing! But, I also kept my veil on all night, and that probably contributed to feeling warm also.

My headpiece had a comb in it when I purchased it, but I removed the comb and had my bridal shop sew loops around the base of the headpiece so that my hairdresser could secure it using hairpins. It stayed in place all night.

You can look at my hairstyle in my profile pic.
