That their photographer missed some important shots that friends or family captured?
Believe it or not now, only a year later some of my freinds and family members sent me their pics from the day (they run on Puerto Rican time I swear )and I am totally doing our album over because they got some awesome shots that the photographer missed like my SIL and I dancing and her dipping (and dropping LMAO) me, a great shot of the room, my dad actually giving me away and several others.
I know photographers cant be everywhere at once but still nice to have the shots. if your photographers allow you ladies, you should definetly see if you can include high res shots from friens and family if they are good ones the photographer missed. Just wanted to share.

I think this always happens! Especially if you only have like 1 photogrpaher. I still havn't seen many guests photos so Im excited about those too!!

Yea we have a shot a friend took of me and DH during our first dance thats a full shot and you can see both our faces in profile which was nice and another where I was dancing with ym dad boogying down. Its sooo funny because we were teaching him to 'go low' and he was a trooper lol. Those shots help me remember the day.

we had 2 photographer and there where still a few things they missed,
so i just got them printed and did a little album myself

Yea i had two photogs and my friends had some really NICE shots and my dad had the best shots of our ceremony (my dad is a semi pro photog). I am designing my own album that is more scrap book with text and photographs once I get the images on cd.

Oh absolutely Jenn, I had the same experience! I loved my photographer to death, hes great......but its just natural I think....when I saw some families and friends shots, I thought....Hmmmmmm....that woulda been nice to have professionally!!

WHen my father gave me away to DH, they gave each other a 'pound' and then jumped up & 'chest bumped' each other.
I told DH he should have tipped off the photographer. They did this as a surprise, not even I knew they were going to do that!

LMAO thats a RIOT. Aww so no one got it on film?
Maybe a friend or family member did. The dance with ym SIL was improntou and I was so glad her partner snapped the shot because its priceless.

I did ours oriignally but I didnt get 'fancy' with it. Now I want to redo it but wih more photoshop work thrown in.

yup! our photogs missed my dad tripping over my train after he gave me away. my MIL got it though.
our photographer told us we can include shots from friends and family if we want, i hadn't thought about doing it, but maybe it's not such a bad idea

I feel the same Way. Our Guy missed us signing our Licenses. And special shots of Father/Daughter & Mother/Son dancing. And I have No Shots of my RB

Yes. I feel like a lot was missed. But like you said, I understand the photogs can't be everywhere. We got some amazing shots, but there are a few that I really wish I had thought to ask for. I went with the philosophy that they are the experts and know what they're doing, so I shouldn't tell them how to do their job. I wish I had put in specific requests for pictures now.

Same here..>I didnt wnat to nag but they missed all the important formals; me and my mopm, me and my dad, me and them both...etc.

There was a lot of shots that I wanted that the photographer missed. But it was mostly my fault because I thought those were common or got caught up in the day and forgot to get them.

i don't have one REALLY good pic of me and dh. all the nice ones are with families and i have some good solo shots, but it was my fault bcuz we were sooooo late with everything and just didnt have time. but, some of my friends e-mailed me some great pictures that i was so happy with, except for the fact that they're not shot by a professional camera. sigh.... if i could plan everything correctly again.

we had 2 photographers, but our friends and family sent us some great pics that the photographers missed. But when I chose which proofs I wanted for the album, I also gave the a disc with some really good shots from our family and friends that I wanted to be included in the album. I was expecting to hear that that wouldn't be allowed, but the photographer didn't give me a problem about it at all and included the shots in the album.

After we lit our unity candle DH turned to walk away and then turned back quickly and kissed me right on the lips. I was so shocked that I gasped and after he walked away again I stood there for a second. My cousin got the picture but my photographer didn't ( he probably assumed the candle was over and was focusing back on where we were going back to sit )
It is one of my favorite memories, I wish the photographer had gotten it and its not high enough quality to put in the album!!
