Anyone who loves Rachel Ray recipes but hates...

Buying her cookbooks and then realizing you're afraid to try half of them because they seem weird, you HAVE to look at this website.

I was looking for a recipe and googled it and this site came up. Its basically a blog by this woman named Madeline who loved RR and her meals and she has a section called 'Its a Keeper' where she posts the meals she made tried and true, with pictures.

We made the spinach cheesy tortellini. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT calorie friendly but sooo sooo SOOOO good!

Its basically spinach dip over cheese tortellini. I'll post the recipe later. SO GOOD.

thx this is great. the chicken lettuce wraps reminded me of pf changs. theyre sooo good!!! im gonna see if i can find the rip off of that recipe now to make it tomorrow.

i love RR recipes but i seriously feel embarrassed for her when i watch her on tv.

yea i have to agree with the above, kinda like martha stewart for me annoying individuals with great concepts. I love cooking and have many cookbooks but i very rarely use them since most of the recipes are just completely a wacko or complicated for me to do or get the ingredients to use with out costing me an arm and a leg.

I cannot stand her voice and her body movements..ugh.. and cmon, do you really have to carry 100 items over to the counter instead of bringing a few over at a time..grrrr. Dont get me wrong, I do enjoy watching her show because she sometimes has good recipes..but she is just waaayyy annoying

Rachel Ray has some pretty easy to follow receipes, but sometimes I'm reluctant to make her meals since they can be on the fattening side! Elle Krieger on the food network has some really goood really healthy meals. Check her out sometime too!

LOL I like RR I have to admit. Her voice can be annoying but it works for her because so many of the other TV chefs are copying her style now down to the cute little annoying sayings and mannerisms. I like that she looks like someone who eats her recipes and her cookbooks have pictures of her food rather than her boobs like one other host who shall remain nameless... She cooks great but her low cut tops annoy me. You're cooking now posing lady.

I agree with the expensive ingredients with RR. Thats why i liked the blog-on some she told what she substituted and it worked well.

I love her recipes but she irritates the pee out of me. she does everything Rachel Ray does but her packaging is more attractive-and she knows it. Does that woman own a normal tee shirt?

Great point about her meals.. they really ARE heavy. I love her cooking show (can't stand her talk show) and when I was watching it this weekend on the treadmiill she called EVOO a 'figure-friendly fat'. That couldn't be further from the truth. It's high in calories like other oils, it's just a little better for your heart.

She likes to think that because her meals are made with fresh ingredients (EVOO, full-fat cheese, bacon), that they are 'healthy'

Still love her though!
