ANYTHING NOT in Your contracts with reception halls that you WISH had been there?

Can the married ladies tell me anything that was not in your reception hall contract that you wish was in there?

FI and I are going tomorrow to book our hall.

Just wondering if there is anything that I should make sure is included in the contract?

I know I do not want any beer bottles in my pics so I am asking that all beer be poured into glasses. We also got a grilled shrimp station thrown in which I will make sure is in the contract.

Should the contract include names of liquor/beer, number of servers per table, number of bars and bartenders, # of valets, # of bridal attendants, etc? I am still interested in chair covers so I will ask for them (or at least use of the prettier cocktail hour tables for my party.

I just do not want to leave anything out.

I wish I had negotiated for the gold havarti (sp?) chairs before we booked. It may not have made a difference (as the site may not have given me a discount) but I realized too late that the chairs were ugly and had to rent the ones I wanted.

We wanted someone to offer our guests Champagne with raspberries as they enter the hall. before walking up to the cocktail hour. We had them add this in our contract.

Thanks. I plan to ask about chair covers today or at least use of the cocktail hour chairs (gold backs and not an awful floral pattern).

Good idea. We have a guest waiting area but I am not sure if champagne is included or if it's a cash bar.
