Apartment hunt---- prayers please!!!

DH and I have been searching for a new place to live since our landlord raised our rent $200 a month!!!

we've been searching FOREVER and last night we FINALLY found one we LOVE and is in our budget. we told the woman we'd take it but she said she has others interested and will get back to us later this week

please send some prayers that we get this apartment. we're trying to save for a and cant afford the raise in rent!!

Kathryn -- good luck! My landlord raised our rent $100 a few months ago, and it *****, but we have been doing it. He's selling the house too, so I just hope the new owner doesn't raise it again once the deal goes through. I thought I was going to have to move out in October when he told us he was selling, and I was a mess because of the wedding, HM, christmas - so hard to move when all of that is going on - so I know what you are going through. I think the lady you told you'd take it should give it to you - YOU said you would take it, and the others just 'showed interest' -- w t f???

OOOH sending you lots of prayers!!!! We are in the same boat, that apartment we found 2 weeks ago we are still waiting to hear back from the guy!! He just got all our credit information last night and we are crossing our fingers!!! Here's to new apartments!

Oh yeah, now it's all ok - the new owner wants it as an investment property like the guy who owns it now was doing .. so we are all ok. We plan to move to NH next fall so I just hope the rent stays the same until September or so!!!
