Are any other newlyweds still waiting for their marriage license?

We got married on July 31st and haven't received our marriage license yet. They told us it would take 2 weeks and now I hear through the grapevine it could take up to 10 weeks. Its so fustrating because I wanted to change all my paperwork before I went back tyo work next week. Anybody else who got marrie drecently still waiting for their license?

who mailed it and when? ours was waiting for us after our HM.

Hi Molly

We recieved ours..the following week after the hm.

Call the priest and asked him, when did he send it out. You should have got it already.

I called the priest and he said he mailed it on August 2nd. (monday after the wedding). I feel worse now knowing that you spitzergirl received yours already because we got married on the same day.

I am thinking of showing up tomorrow at the city Clerk to see what the story is. Hopefully I will get some answers.

I just got mine today finally .I went to the City clerk in Brooklyn and it had been processed but never mailed. It was just sittting there inthis huge pile with others waiting to be mailed out. Good thing I went in person or God knows how much longer it would have sat there waiting to be sent!
