just wondering cause i'm frustrated with mine already. they borrow my car often cause theirs is garbage; once someone backed into them by the supermarket (they were parked in a no parking zone btw), now my mom opened the passenger door into a concrete pole that she 'couldnt see' and scratched the paint AND they left the parking lights on which i just turned off when i went to look at the damage!!!#$$%
my car isnt new or so fancy BUT I TRY TO KEEP IT nice!!!!!!!! wouldnt you be pissed???? i told them not to ask to borrow my car anymore

I'd be pretty mad.. but then again, the last time I borrowed my mother's truck I hit a handicap pole in a parking lot causing $2000 worth of damage to the car.. So I totally see where you are coming from!

That too would piss me off. However I noticed your first anniversay is only six days away, try not to let them upset you! Offer to drive them where they need, but don't let them drive your car any more. Try to use the excuse you would love to spend more time with them. However limit this too only a few times a month.

TG our parents arent this way! We keep our cars spotless and they are the same way. BUT if I was you I would be annoyed

i have the same type of family...so i know if they have my car it's safe...sorry your parents aren't careful...i would explain how you feel and tell them they have lost their car privileges until they can prove they will be careful.

thank you guys for your sympathy...i was HOT yesterday when i posted; i've since calmed down, knowing i'm not going to get any more phone calls that they've done something else to my car!
And as emberlynn mentioned our anniversary is comming and we're so excited to be going away this weekend that its not upsetting me anymore.
Why couldnt my folks just be more careful and not clueless???????????

im venting sorry girls. my parents are borrowing my car one last time this sun(mom said they rsvp'd for this thing in nj a while ago so i said ok) but i reminded her its the last time.
NOW SHE'S PO'D AT ME!!! says i'm treating her like sh!t! i'm like its my dam* car! get your own and bang it up as much as you like!!!!
grrrrrrrrr she makes me so mad. like it's my dam* fault she banged my car door and left the lights on? Careless!!!!!!
