Did anyone else have issues with their tax return?
This was the first year we filed jointly well...

I called because our return was supposed to come today
The lady told me that I'm not on the return WHAT? of course I am that's what filing jointly means!!!! She told me DH has to call

He did ... they said that they hold all first time joint filings to look over and make sure that everything is ok?!?!?! ***?

Did anyone experience this?

We would have to wait the normal 6-8 weeks for the return
and as far as us filing jointly even though my name is on the return I do not exist to them. (awesome)

Well it's been 10 weeks

I'm sorry it just seems like thing after thing is going wrong with the house and we are running out of $$ to do repairs. Especially since our roof just started to leak all of a sudden

i dont have any advice, we filed seperate this year.
I hope it all works out

Dh and I filed jointly ,they said it was better cause it was the first year of marriage. And we got ours back in like 2 weeks....I'm sorry this happened and hope they fix it soon for you guys

the lady at my accountants office told me that once you change your name or hyphenate (if you do) you have to file jointly...so I did....it took like a week to be put into our account.
