As your one-year approaches, anyone get back those post-wedding blues?

As your one-year approaches, anyone get back those post-wedding blues?

Our one year anniversary is on Monday, and I'm totally excited.. we took off the day, have tons of stuff planned..

...but Im starting to have a little case of the post-wedding blues that I experienced the weeks after my wedding.

You know, the whole 'Wow that was perfect... but it will never happen again '

I only had those blahs for about a month post-wedding but then so many fun, great things happened to us over the year that the wedding became a distant, perfect memory.

I am embarassed to say that they are back a little bit...

... Am I the only one?

I had them but I was mostly upset that last year at this time I was off for a week and could fit into smaller pants. I was working Monday and at 3 when I looked at the clock I clouldn't help but think this time last year I was arriving at the church

LOL same here-especially with the b pics coming up I am annoyed I was 10 pounds lighter this time last year but I am really enjoying being able to eat banana cupcakes with butterceam icing NAYTIME I WANT TO lol without worrying about rbeakouts or a zipper popping and taking out DH's eye. Sooo....That mood passes quickly.

hmm, i didnt experience PWB right after the wedding. i was just so happy to be married and wedding planning stress- free!
i do get a slightly envious now that the 08ers are gearing up for their weddings only b/c i start thinking about where i was this time last year and i get a little sentimental.

otherwise, i am so over wedding planning! on our one year anni, i'll prob. lament a little but i wont be depressed about it.

I had really bad PWB for about a month after. I definitely think it will return as my one-year anniversary comes up and the weather gets warmer and I remember how I was feeling/ what I was doing a year ago. I miss everything about it!

ugh I finally got over PWB a couple months ago...I PRAY it doesn't come back again!

okay maybe it wasn't a couple months ago ...it was at its worst the month or two after but I'd still have those... moments of just wanting it back sooo badly!!! I think I've finally let that go...I think.

i haven't experienced it yet... but then again, we've only been married 3 months or so, and i don't even have my pics.

Aww thanks girls. I feel soooo much better after hearing that I'm not the only one.

I'm definitely doing the 'this time last year' stuff and it's sad that I can't do it all over again.

I guess I'll just have to settle for being married to a man I worship and adore.... sigh...

I don't miss the stress and worrying about $$ that went with the wedding planning but I do miss everything else....looking for my dress, flower appointments..going through magazines to get ideas...If you said to me tomorrow plan your wedding again...but Don't need to worry about the stress and $$ I would do it in a heartbeat!
But don't get me wrong...I LOVE being married to DH and being his wife!
