commercials with Sarah McLachlan make me wanna cry!!!!!
how can people be so cruel to helpless animals???
i remember the day i went to brookhaven shelter and adopted this scrawny little kitten.....he is like our baby now and i cant image what sort of person (i use this term lightly here) could harm an animal like him
ps riley is almost 4 now and he is far from scrawny

DH will change the channel when that commerical comes on because I cry and ask him to take me to a shelter so I can adopt some more doggies...
he get's all angry and says when your little money (that's what I call my dog haha) can learn to poop outside when it rains and snows then we will get another dog lolol

it gets me so angry! My poor mima was clearly mistreated before I got her. First of all, she's a mental case. Second, she had asthma so severe that she almost died. Probably people dropped her at the Animal shelter b/c after getting her they didn't feel like spending the $$ for her vet bills.

That commercial makes me cry every single time. I said to dh last night while I was on the couch with our puppy 'How can anyone want to hurt him'. Meaning how can anyone want to hurt any animal. I just wish I could save them all. :(

me 2......after i see it....i give DH that look with tears in my eyes and he tells me we are not getting another pet right now
but after we get a house and see how much room we have then we will talk
but if i could i would adopt them all

I know People who mistreat animals make me sick. Here is a horrific story from PA (near where my Nana lives). It was all over the news - poor kitties starving to death and there were pallets of food in the next room. Horrible.
i can't take that commercial.. it breaks my heart.. my baby was abandoned for some reason but he is the most sweetest angelic cat in this world.. i can't imagine what he must have gone through begging for food and sleeping out in the cold before he came ours...

i hate those commercials sooo bad! As an animal lover, seeing all of that really disturbs me. I always change the channel when it comes on, but sometimes DH likes to be mean, so he'll hide the remote from me, forcing me to have to run outta the room.
What's kind of ironic is that, I spend so much time ESCAPING that horrible commercial because it makes me so upset. But then on Christmas we had the tv on behind me with the volume off. There's a picture of me & DH opening presents and behind me on the tv screen is a sad little kitty. It seems that I cannot escape it!!! Jeez.
I don't understand how people can be so cruel to something so much smaller than them and so defenseless. Ugh. Don't even get me started on that...

i get so upset with those commercials i can't bear to see anything happen to any animal...i am so glad we did our wedding favors as a donation to the ASPCA
