Hi I just popped on here and saw this Do you know 'flo' at 38th street and 30th ave? They just renovated and it's now HUGE and nice; they have a separate area toward the back that would work for a large party like that. Great food, cheap brunch, nice atmosphere, and right near Steinway street (with a municipal lot across the street).

Cavo is real good bc its nice inside, very big space and good food.

I like beer garden but once its warmer out

Mccanns is great but only problem is with 15 ppl it will be a bit harder with the whole table situation. Unless you guys dont mind doing 2 separate tables but will be one behind the other, even then its a bar table and only seats 5 comfortably. We have done alot of ppl at 1-2 tables but most of us usually stand and hang out around the bar.

Grand Ave cafe is also real nice, can get real real busy there and many times its hard to get a table and you have to stand around waiting. Maybe afternoon wouldnt be as bad though

Cafe/Bar-its this cool small artsy type cafe, they have good food and laid back atmosphere. With 15 ppl its a little harder but there are couch areas on one side and they might be able to make it work.

Island-well i like it at night, it turns into a club so i am not sure what its like in the afternoon but it is a restaurant in the afternoon.

Central is also open during the day and serves food, the place is nice especially if you'll get to eat outside.

you're looking for a little more casual right? there is L'incontro and other great nice restaurants but its more of a fancy restaurant where you just go to eat. Not sure if this is what you want.

Cronin and Phelan-its an irish place
