I just got married on Jan. 4 and am new to the site! Has anyone gone to Atlantis on their honeymoon? (I'm going in June)

We were in the Bahamas for our honeymoon and stopped to check Atlantis out. We liked it A LOT! It seemed very busy, with lots of restaurants and lots to do, if you wanted to do it. The pools were gorgeous too, if you want to do nothing.

We didnt go on our honeymoon but we visited for the day when we were on a trip nearby. The resort is gorgeous!
We have friends that go every year and they tell me that you have to make reservations months in advance for their best restaurants so thats the tip I have to pass onto you.

You will really love it there. I was there about a year ago and stayed for the week. It is absouletly outrageous. i am planning to go there for 3 days on my honeymoon before we head to hawaii. you will not regret it...

I didnt go there on my honeymoon, but when we were in Bahamas last spring staying somewhere else, we stopped there late on our last night. It was gorgeous from what we did see. If I ever vacation there again, that will be where I will stay. My friend has been there three times.

We went to the Grand Bahama Island on our honeymoon instead of Atlantis. We wanted something different, Atlantis was way more expensive and a lot more commercial. We stayed at Our Lucaya. We had a great time, and we can't wait to go again!
