Attack of the banana bread

So my DH is down in the dumps (understatement of the century). Yesterday was the first day that we were back at our apartment with no obligations and nowhere to be so we just chilled out. I started to tidy up the place and instead of tossing a bunch of very ripe bananas I decided to try and make some banana bread.

The recipe I found yields 2 loafs. I made fresh coffee this morning and ended up eating half a loaf myself...he had oatmeal and didn't even have a bite of my bread This afternoon I see him smiling in the kitchen and I'm like 'whaa??' and he's like 'attack of the banana bread'.....

I have been under so much stress this week trying to be there for him so for some reason this innocuous comment made me feel really bad! I started cracking up after getting over it....

Funny story that doesn't translate well. Guess ya had to be there.

Re: Attack of the banana bread

Hrm.

In any case... I love banana bread and am notorious for letting bananas go brown so I make a lot of it. I have 3 loaves in the freezer right now saved for lataaaa.
