Any thoughts on an Australian Honeymoon? good places to visit? When to get airfare? anything really??
I went to Australia three years ago. The best time to get airfare is at the end of February/early March because Qantas, an Australian airline, has a huge sale. (I highly, highly recommend Qantas Airlines). I would definitely spend some time in Sydney, though it reminded me of a cleaner version of NYC. The Outback, particulary Ayers Rock and Alice Springs is nice. You definitely need to visit Ayers Rock. If you want to see the Great Barrier Reef, you can stay in the city of Cairns. I did not go to Melbourne but I heard a lot of beautiful things about it. For a romantic getaway from Australia, you can go to Fiji or Bali, which is not that far from Australia.
