B rett Matthews brides..

I have some questions- I have my first appt this weekend to start designing my album...

1. Does the first appt really take 4-5 hrs?

2. Do you know how much more $ it is per additional picture that you want to add to the album over the included 50 pics?

3. What type of editing do they do? For example, can they remove a hair in my face or change the lighing or add shadows?

4. If you got parent albums, can you make a different album for your parents & a different one for his parent or do they both have to be the same?

I still have to do mine, so I'm clueless on most your ?s BUT I do know that both parent albums do not need to be the same!!! Let me know how it goes!!! And try not to go too overboard!! I know Princes777 spent over $1000 extra at her meeting

Holy!!! $1000 extra. My DH would murder me! So far I have narrowed it down to 130 pics.. I have no clue how I am going to choose only 50 pics.
I will def let you know how it goes.

None that I can think of right now! When do you go?? I really need to make my appt!

I'm going this saturday & it took me 1 month to get a Sat appt.. & they told me that my completed album will take about 9 months

I don't know anything about B rett Matthews but most photographers know Photoshop and can do the basic changes. If they're brilliant, they can do soooo much. taryn's Thank you card photo is a perfect example of the awesomeness that can be done. Just ask them and if its doable, they will be able to. They MIGHT charge extra for certain things though so you have to ask.

Generally you can have the parents albums be diff; we did our own but in his parents we did the basic pics of us and ceremony and family formals and then focused heavily on their guests. In my parents we did the same by focusing on their side.

I wouldnt spend too much extra $$ on the album. I know it is the formal one, but if you can get it down to the BEST pics, then just take all the others and make a photobook from somewhere like Blurb or Picaboo (or hire me to do it ) and then you can put in as many as you like. ALOT cheaper and the quality may not be flushmounted, but its really good. Looks totally professional. If you look in my albums I have some of them so you can see what you can do. I did a special cover for DH's book and looked awesome.

hmm, I have never been told that piece of information but knowing how BM is, I wouldn't be surprised.

I don't believe you lose the entire credit, but I do know that there is a fee if you go past a year!!!
