B rett Matthews Ladies- Pic question

Did anyone get a CD of their pictures? I got got the boxes of the proofs and I was just wondering if anyone got a CD before I call them. TIA!

NOPE They won't give you the negatives!! I believe we can buy them in something like 5 years!!

And you just got your proofs now????? Thats really long!! I was only married a few weeks before you, and I got my proofs at the end of August.

noooo. i practically BEGGED. i told them i would pay any amount of $$ and they still said no. so im going to have to scan all of my proofs which is fine cause i have a hi-res scanner - but VERY annoying. PLUS i still havent gotten my proofs back they promised when i called on Friday that they would be in next week

PLUS i still havent gotten my proofs back they promised when i called on Friday that they would be in next week

I practically begged too, they teased me that I couldn't afford them! I do think in 5 years we can buy them! I had to scan a lot of them and then had them printed- they came out great!!

No, I got my proofs a while ago, but I was just thinking about the CD. When we booked, they claimed that everything was done in film not digital and that in a few years we could buy the negatives if we wanted to, but then at our wedding our photographer informed us that everything was digital now, so I was just wondering if they gave you the CD. I know other places like Silverfox give it to you.

Did you print them yourself or use something like shutterfly?

No, I got my proofs a while ago, but I was just thinking about the CD. I was told the same thing about it being in film, and then the day of it was all digital! I wish we'd get a cd!!!

Not a ************** bride,but I went with 12th Night. We have 3 DVDs of our edited pictures, and the 4th is of all 1,600 pictures they captured of our whole day!!!! It's soooooooooooooo much easier to have them on a DVD.

i dont know about other brides but b rett m atthews was VERY upfront about not doing CDs. i totally hate it but it;s there policy. i just hope i love my proofs enough that i dont mind the HOURS it will take me to scan them. hopefully ill find out this week

Oh- they were totally upfront with me too!! ANd like I said- they teased me!! I had no probs with that- I loved their work sooo much, that even though I really wanted my proofs on cd, I decided that I'd rather have them!! They're amazing, very professional and tons of fun!! My proofs came out amazing and I wouldn;t change anything for the world!!
