Absolutely NOT! We're having too much fun right now to give up our personal life. We definitely want children, but we're going to wait at least 2 years.

No. I had it for years but as of the last year I have not had baby fever. I think we will have kids but not anytime soon. Maybe in 2 or 3 years.

Maybe it's because we are having too mcuh fun too. . (I know that sounds wierd) but we have a house in Long Beach that we are renting from my cousin for the summer and I'm having a blast with our friends and stuff, but being out until 430 in the morning every weekend, and then I'm out with clients during the week, I'm just getting tired of being out. I'm also going to be 30 in January so it's not like I haven't done it all already.

I agree! I just moved out of my parents house before the wedding. So I want to enjoy my freedom before having kids! We are thinking about at least to trips in the next two years too.

DH has always wanted kids, and I have never been too thrilled with the idea. Maybe in the future we will, but right now we are enjoying being married. We just bought a house together, and we want to travel, and make our home a fun enjoyable place to live and most of all entertain. Most of our friends live out of state and we both enjoy taking weekends away.
We currently have a cat. It's hard enough to find a sitter for her when we are away.

Yes!!! Ever since we got married all of a sudden I can't wait to have children. But my husband is in a program that is moving us around the world for three years (we're currently living in China- and I refuse to have a baby in China), so we made the agreement that we'll wait until we're settled in one place. But still, I can't wait!

Who, me? Do I feel like NY is filled with pregnant women, and people pushing strollers?

Um, yeah. I do have baby fever. And the good news is that I saw a new doctor yesterday--my regular doctor referred me to her--and she seems to think that I shouldn't have a problem. Yay! I'm not at a place yet where we can start trying, but it's not out of the question.

Re: Baby Fever

Part of me does, and part of me doesn't. I can't wait to be a mom, but I wish I met DH a year earlier so we could truly enjoy at least a year of our marriage without thinking about kids. But my dilemma is, even if I got pregnant today, I would be 35 when I had my first child, and I don't want to be nursing a newborn (my first, anyway) when I'm 40. People say, 'oh, you have time' but I really don't. And who's to say I'll get pregnant right away?

We thought we'd start trying after the new year, and see how it goes. That way, we get a little time to be just us, and if I'm not pregnant by the end of next summer, then we'll start to aggressively pursue our options.

OMG, serious baby fever. I think I had it since I was 22, ten years ago. We are trying and hope we have no problems. I'll be 32 on Monday and DH will 36 tomorrow. We just really aren't that young anymore and DH spent all of last month saying 'maybe your pregnant' when absolutely anything was bothering me. I think he has baby fever worst then me.

Enjoy having fun while you can. Children are sooooooooooooooooo expensive!!! I have a 9 year old, and a 1 year old. Nothing gets cheaper, and my sons MUST HAVE THE BEST OF EVERYTHING!!!!!! And sleep? What is that? Just a heads up. Save save save....thats my advice.

My baby fever was so bad that I was more interested in temping and charting then planning my wedding . Dh had it just as bad as I did. We started trying 3 months before the wedding but didn't get it right till the honeymoon.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've had baby fever since I'm 10. When I was a kid, and people asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up; Id say 'a Mom'
Now that I'm 34.....MAJOR BABY FEVER.
However, with that said, I know it will happen one day, and for the immediate future, we are just enjoying our time together as a newly married couple.
Soon enough, I'll be a hen.
