baby fever?

anyone itching like I am for a baby maybe?my husbands 3 best friends all have kids and were feeling the itch

I have a 7 year old so my biological clock has been muted for a bit...

my sister and SIL both just had babies this spring so my uterus aches a little bit.

But DH & I aren't stable enough financially to start *trying*

Hopefully within a year or so we will...

(Im 33 now, so we can't wait TOO LONG)

We have a 6 month old. DH is ready for a 2nd. He smokes CRACK if he thinks I'm ready for a 2nd.

Anyway, she is a lot of fun at this age. We took her pumpkin picking yesterday.... moments like this make me want a bunch. But then I remember how much work it is!!!

we do & we don't......DH is 32, I'm 27......so he's WAY more anxious than I am (he wanted to start TTC on the HM!!)....I'm still on the pill, so at least for right now, I'm in the drivers seat on this one!! I think I'll give it at least a year! What I DO have the itch for, is to not work! (even though I'm sure I'll at least have to work part time even when we have kids

DH is still going to be in school for at least another 1.5 yrs, probably 2.5 yrs and considering they keep reducing the phd stipend by almost 5% a year . . . yeah, there will be no babies until we're dr. & mrs.!!!! but we've still got plenty of time (i'm 26 & DH is 25)

Caroline.... I call that the *piggly* age... they squeal, snort and giggle at EVERYTHING...

yes, yes, yes!!! i get tenure this year (crossing fingers) and then we are going to actively start trying. if it happens before that, that's fine too... we'll make it work. my opinin is that life is too short to say, 'but the house is not big enough, or we don't have the right car, or we don't have enough in money in the bank.' everything works out....

We do....BUT then we go out and realize that we wouldnt be able to do that if we had a baby and the fever subsides at least temporarily

i would love to start trying but we arent in a house yet, we need to straighten out finances and i still have about 4-5 yrs ahead of me in my doctoral program. ugh.

oh god yeah!! i got baby fever before we were engaged!! and we just came back from our honeymoon from disney, we're about to have a brand new niece any day now. i wish we were financially settled right now :(

i have a 'Future baby itch'....lol if that makes sense??? can't wait to have them in the future..i think about it all the time...but as of right now? i can't imagine not being able to just go to the movies spur of the moment like we did this afternoon, or just take a weekend getaway, etc.... for me, i gotta just enjoy this time first while lovin' my neices and nephews....but i can't wait to have a family in the years to come!

Same here, my SIL had a baby 6 days after our wedding, We are waiting for DH to pass his Journeymens test in Sept. then its a green light to GO!

Did your DH go to BC? My husband and I both went there- I miss it!

I totally have the baby itch- but I know we have to wait until we're actually settled somewhere for more than a year.
