How many of you ladies have your husband's baby pictures? She said we can have them when she dies. Is this normal? Please let me know.
we have a lot of them. when my mil moved to florida she left alo tof them with him. did you try and tell her that you dont want all of threm just a few? or maybe borrow them and scan them all so you will have copies. i hope she gives in
We don't have any and I think MIL will give them to us when she either dies, moves, or cleans out the tons of drawers with photos in them. Oh well!
My MIL gave me about 20 for our wedding video. For Christmas, she gave me a box full of DH's school stuff, like ID card, report cards, newspaper clippings. It was cute! I would ask your MIL for a couple of baby pictures, so you can just have some.
There are very few of him in the first place but his mom let us borrow some for the video. I scanned them and returned them to her.
I have NONE. I call my MIL the picture Natzi. She will not give away any pictures. I wanted some for the wedding and she gave me a few and the day after the wedding she wanted them back. Now I need some for the video and she is giving us a hard time about going through her pics (she is away in Florida). Unreal!
At first I had none. But when his mom was moving to canada, Dale was cleaning out the attic and was ready to throw out this box. I opened it up & there were some pictures of him and his family when he was a boy. I was so happy because otherwise I don't think I would have any. At my sil's shower I made her an album of some of my brother's baby pictures. It nearly brought her to tears. I thought it was a great idea and she loved it too.
