baby talk

ok guys boring icky friday at work.. i'm just not in the mood..

so all this baby talk and i had to think..

my in laws are really old fashioned folks.. like DH and i never allowed to travel before marriage and all that stuff.. to extent where she came downt he basement with DH and I when we were engaged and playing video games though she hates it..

and my parents.. well i mean they are my folks..

so my things, when we do get pregnant (which is not any time soon) i think i'd be embarssed about telling them.. like i actually did have sex.. though his brother his having a baby next year (whole different dynamics though)..

am i just crazy

yeah sorry didnt have the same situation. We went on vacation even before engaged and stayed over.

Its funny bc my mom talks about it freely with me and im the one who gets embarassed by it.

BUt i dont think you have to worry, i am sure they know youre having sex now that you are married. Plus im sure his parents were that way bc they were very traditional and felt you shouldn't be doing those things if youre not married, but now that you are its ok.

I think its funny when people talk about 'trying to get pregant' I think i'd be more embarassed by that b/c it's pretty much saying...hey we are having lots of sex! lol

DH and i slept in the same room at his parents house when we were just dating in college...lol...so they know what's up!

that topic is always embarrassing especially with in-laws, but they know you are married now and are probably hoping you're 'making babies' asap...

My old fashioned off-the-boat MIL said to me that I look too skinny that we must be having a lot of sex... I could have died right there.

im kinda confused.

even if they're traditional about premarital things, don't you think they figure youre having sex now that you're married? its really okay! i wouln't be embarrassed.

at that time, theyll prob just be excited about the baby and wont be really overanalyzing or thinking about the fact that gasp you had sex with your husband, which isn't even a bad thing. of course you don't want to think about family members doing the deed, but its life. and babies are a beautiful thing!

it's funny you posted this now, because earlier i was thinking about how when you're pregnant, everyone really knows you are having sex, and even when you had sex.
