Back from Disney!

Just wanted to say Happy New Year to all! I overcame the flu by day two of the trip and had a great Christmas and New Years. I hope you all had a happy holiday season too! Hubby is downloading pics, so hopefully I can share this weekend!

Anything new and exciting going on? I havent been on for 11 days! LOL

Did you spend New Years Eve in Paradise Island?????????????

We stayed at the Disney Swan which is an awesome location. We were right by the boardwalk and we could also walk to Epcot or MGM. I had never stayed so close to the parks before, it really saved a lot of time. I will say Disney is amazing at the holidays, however the crowds this time were soooooooo bad. Luckily we stayed so close to the parks that we could easily go back to our hotel mid day and go in the hot tub or pool. It was about 75 degrees our entire trip with no rain, so we were very lucky! We spent Christmas Eve at Epcot and saw the Candlelight Processional with dinner at France right before it. It was amazing! It really put me in the Christmas Spirit!
Christmas Day was at Magic Kingdom, as well as New Years Eve. My goodness, the crowds were killer. DH made us dinner reservations 90 days in advance (thank god) or we would have no where to eat due to crowds.
The new fireworks show at Magic Kingdom called Wishes was INCREDIBLE!!!! We went back to see it 4 times!
I also highly recommend Fantasmic at MGM! Another great show!
The best new attractions that we saw/did were Mickey's Philharmagic at Magic Kingdome. IT is a 3D movie, but it is terrific!
And...Mission Space at EPCOT. It feels like you are taking off in a rocket to land on Mars and it scared the crap out of me!
