I only went to Atlantis for our Honeymoon. The Island of Nassau was kind of blah, and I don't know of any other places lol Atlantis was fun, but I don't think I would stay as long as we did for the HM. It's fun for a few days. :)

Atlantis is definitely the best, but VERY expensive. There are also the Harborside Villas which are right next to the Atlantis and by staying there you get free access to all Atlantis amenities as if you were staying there (my parents have a timeshare at Harborside). I've heard the Sandals in the Bahamas is wonderful also.

I second this!! Atlantis is awesome! I went there a couple of years back..

ditto. though it's gotten a little commercialized since we went in 2005; went back in 2007 and they had a ton of new restaurants that we also have in NYC (nobu, carmine's, etc.)

it's still awesome though.

We went to Atlantis and is was really expensive. We think we went at a bad time of year, but certain parts of the resort were closed which really affected our trip. I don't know where else to stay, however.

I went there for my BP and we stayed at the Riu. It was a lot cheaper than staying at Atlantis and it was all inclusive. The room we had overlooked Atlantis. It was ok. I think I would have rathered staying at Atlantis lol
