So one of my coworkers gave me the food network favorite recipes cookbook for christmas. I'm flipping through it and discover that pages 42-48 are ripped out!! Who does that?!?!?

edit: my coworker did not rip out the pages, she bought the book that way

Is it possible that they bought it that way and didn't realize -- someone in the store ripped it out?

Or is that what you are saying and not accussing your co-worker?

People are strange -- I would take it and exchange it.

no I'm saying who does that as in the person that ripped out that is not my coworker. She is kitchen challenged, I know it wasn't her.

Well I guess those pages are for you to add in your own recipes

maybe go buy it at borders and return the bad one

yea....that's grimy I know, but maybe just walk in and out- the store can mark it as damaged and even if you get a credit its better than missing recipes....
