Just wondering if anyone has been there or has any recommendation of hotels there -

YES!!!!!

The Bar Harbor Inn!!

I stayed there on my honeymoon and loved it! We had a king size room with a water view in the main lodge! The restaurant in the hotel called 'The Reading Room' had AMAZING food!!

We loved it so much we are sending my parents there next month for their 40th anniversary.

Been there several times and love it!! If you are looking for a nice place to stay that is fairly inexpensive try the Bar Harbor Motel. We stay there every time we go and it is quiet and very well kept. It's about 3 minutes from downtown Bar Harbor.

The Chiltern Inn...they were recently featured on HGTV!!! It's awesome!

THey have their own indoor swimming pool and hottub, with a gorgeous fireplace right in front of the pool!

THey had the most AMAZING breakfast, it was like a four course meal! Wonderful staff...I can't say enough, we want to go back soon!

I stayed at a cute little place called the Quimby House...but the BAR Harbor Inn is gorgeous...we went there to eat and drink and sat outside by the water...beautiful.

Oooooh, the Chiltern Inn is very romantic!! I like it a lot. I has more of a Bed & Breakfast feeling to it. So pretty!

They're all great places- I was going to say the Inn.
My family is from Maine and we try to all get up there (the Inn) every year for a weekend together. It's a beautiful place- when are you going?

All these places look beautiful! It is going to be hard to decide
