Oops, hit send before I wrote anything. So, I want to throw DH a 30th bday party. I'd like to have more of a cocktail party rather than a buffet or sit down dinner to keep the cost down. Any ideas for a fun bar/restaurant in Western Suffolk/Nassau that won't break the bank?

HOw about one of the bars in Huntington? Will they rent out to a private party? Do you know anyone that's a member of a fire house or something? Some of them have nice party rooms. Can you just do it at someone's house?

I've emailed a few places in Huntington today. Some prices I got online are a little steep, but we'll see. I would love to have it at a house but I think our house is too small and feel bad asking his parents. Hopefully I'll figure it out soon! Thanks for the suggestions.
