i heard the ocean club is amazing and the Fairmont Royal PAvillion
ive been to the Crane Hotel, but its under construction so be careful when you book... check tripadvisor.com to see if the reviews started getting better- the travellers were complaining about the construction but i will tell you that the resort is TOP NOTCH and GORGEOUS

It's so funny that you should post this because I JUST booked our first anniversary trip to Barbados like 10 minutes ago! We're staying at The House - champagne breakfast and afternoon high tea included. I can't wait!
ETA: My travel agent is John from MAS Travel (they're a vendor on here). He got us a great deal for our HM to Cap Juluca last year and he's so great to deal with. He said that The House is very 'different' - it's kind of like a W Hotel where everyone is dressed in black, but instead, everyone is dressed in white. You're assigned an ambassador for your stay, who's kind of like a personal concierge. He also mentioned The Crane to us as well as Fairmont Royal Pavilion, Sandy Lane ($$$$) and Coral Reef (which is currently sold out for the dates we wanted).
