bc pill question (added another one)

When do you start taking the fake pills and when do you get your period?

I am trying to figure out when to start my new prescription and I was on loestrin so I hardly ever got anything LOL

I am going on the generic version of Ortho Tricyclen (sp?). I know everyone is different but did anyone gain weight from it?

i start taking the pills after i finish the last pack.

I got my period once while i was on ortho tri cyclen (the week i was on my honeymoon). I have to continously take my pills.

the fake ones start three weeks after the first pill. I am a sunday starter to.

thanks for answering but I meant like you start taking the fake pills on a Sunday, so you get it on a Wednesday? Like what days of the week - I want to know the best time to start to avoid the weekends LOL

When I was on the pill I started the placebos on Sunday and got my period on Wednesday. It was gone by Sunday night and that's when I started the new pack.

I don't even take the fake pills.

I start my pack on a Sunday and mine used to come on a Tuesday. Now it's more like Wednesday night/Thursday morning

i was on Ortho Tri for a while. I didn't gain weight (if i did it was less than 5 lbs) but I think my boobs got a little bigger ... but that went away. My sister was on it forever and swears she went up a cup size!

i never took the placebo pills either, and always did a Sunday start.

OH YAY BIG BOOBS!

BCP are not suppose to make you gain weight. Your boobs might get bigger but thats b/c they swell.

ETA: Any weight I gained will on BCP is b/c I am a FAT A S S!!!!!

oh yeah i dont take the fake pills either i just meant the time you are supposed to take them

i took them for loestrin bc they had iron in them.

I was on tri-cyclen years ago. I didn't gain weight, but it started to straighten my naturally curly hair. Very strange.

WIth any BC pill I was on, I would finish my placebo pills (or sometimes just skip them) by Saturday, get AF on Weds, and be finished by Sat the latest (usually Friday). Started a new pack on Sunday.
