What are the differences in pillows? Which ones are worser quality & why?
What's the differences of comforters...the feathers ? The thread count? the durability?
Show me a picture of your bedding & thanks for the input.
I have no idea what this whole 'thread' thing is about....

Re: BEDDING HELP!!!
The thread count is how many threads per square inch. The more threads, the better and usually more expensive the sheet. They are much softer and wear better. I only know this because I work in a hotel.

Re: BEDDING HELP!!!
The higher the thread count = the softer the sheets are. Egyption cotton is the softest, however is also more prone to pilling (those little balls you get on your sheets and sweaters after machine washing them).
For comforter - pay attention to fill weight. This is how thick the comforter is. 8oz is standard, so if you get more than that you are going into the higher priced beds.
Thread count on a comforter does not really matter since it is not up against your skin. Most comforters have a very low thread count on the back for this reason.
I work for a bedding company, you can FM me with more questions if you'd like.
