Our set was from Raymour and Flanigan, but they don't sell it anymore apparently. I really like it, even though as a whole we had problems with like everything we bought there and it was really frustrating. This set can be bought at other stores though.

We're moving & we'll need a headboard now. So i figured I'd get a new dresser as well...The only thing is that we dont exactly want to spend a fortune on furniture right now, but i also dont want to throw down hundreds of $$ on a piece of junk. I'm trying to find the best bang for the buck.
Ive considered Bobs, but ive been reading a lot of negative reviews on their stuff - so im not sure if spending $500 - $1000 on a few pieces there is such a smart idea.

we bought ours at bobs...I LOVEEE bobs!!! it's so affordable and they have great furniture...we bought an 8 piece set for 1K!

I got mine from Coasters! They are GREAT! Sturdy and strong... In another bedroom I have a Pier 1 Bedroom set; its ok... I think Pier 1 furniture is not sturdy enough to last for years.

I would suggest going out to the pottery barn outlet in Riverhead. If you are only looking for a headboard now, they have tons of great stuff and usually have coupons in the coupon book.
I have bought quite a few pieces out there and my coffee table is still on the showroom floor in Roosevelt field. I bought it 4 years ago at the outlet, they must have had too many because they were piled high in the boxes..perfect condition.
It's worth a trip out there...bring a truck...but I did find out you can get it delivered as well.
ours is from bobs, and i love it, they actually discontinued our set, which is pretty sweet cuz we have the 5 year goof proof...we wanted to get another night stand, but they dont make it, soo the sales guy told us to call up goof proof and tell them a peice is broken and when they cant replace it cuz they dont make it anymore they will replace the whole set...
ive already picked out the one i want! lol the one we have now is similar tho...
Just have to drag DH there to actually look at it!

although cheaper than if you were to go to Ashley, we're still talking $1000s for a set right?

Ashley furniture sells the set so you can see it in there... You can choose from soo many different manufacturers that High Point works with... For ex, for some pricier stuff, I was able to get really good quotes on Kincaid/American Drew etc as well

For a king bed, 2 nightstands, and a dresser with mirror, delivery, tax, and setup, we spent low 2000's ... The set itself at Ashley was going to cost around 3k plus tax and i herad they kill you in shipping charges... so we prob saved ourselves about 1k
Im sure you can still use them for more inexpensive sets though... you just have to know which set you like and ask for a quote
