Hi girls. Can you girls please go to this website and tell me what you think of this bedroom set (esp. the knobs), I did it this way so when you get to the site you can click on the pic to see it larger. There is a pic there that specifically shows the drawer knobs. Thanks a million! My husband loves it, I am not too sure about the handles. Your valued opinions are SOO appreciated. Here it goes:

Re: BEDROOM SET - NEE OPINIONS!
Denise have you seen it in person, it seem to be very nice. In the pix the knobs come off as white, is that how it looks. I don't particularly care for them, but they set it very nice
I think the knobs take my eye away from the beauty of the set

Re: BEDROOM SET - NEE OPINIONS!
Thank you Diane for putting it up for me! I don't know the first thing about computers! :) Well we saw it in Fortunoffs and I asked the name of the manufacturer, then I found it online. What I think we are going to do is before we buy, look into changing the knobs. That is what is killing it for me, too! It does take your eye away from its beauty!
I don't want to buy it and then find out it costs a fortune to change those knobs! You guys are the best, I knew i could count on you. I love you guys! Now, I am soo excited! :)

I LOVE the set, I'm just not a fan of dark wood.

Re: BEDROOM SET - NEE OPINIONS!
I never was really either. I thought I always loved light wood and oak. However, everything we looked at in light wood, looked cheap for some reason. Maybe too casual, I don't know. I think maybe subconsciously I am looking for a more formal look. However, I never thought I like dark wood either, I am still not 100% sure, that is why I wanted opinions so bad! :)
Thanks for your honestly, sweetie!
Denise

Very nice! I love dark wood and dislike light wood. So I love this set. My ideal would be something in this family but with a sleigh bed! It's great though!

I think this is a gorgeous bedroom set. I love dark wood- it looks so sleek and classic. I like that the knobs are silver but I think something smaller and very simple may look better. What is it that you don't like about them? Just edited to say that I think I like the sleigh bed better.

Re: BEDROOM SET - NEE OPINIONS!
While I like a pecan-honey colored woods, this is beautiful. It has a very rich feel to it. Not crazy about the knobs. Many companies will let you switch knobs.Just ask them. Worse thing- ask for no knobs and buy your own. If you normally like a lighter wood, make sure you will like this in your home. Furniture can look amazing in a showroom, where they have large areas to display the products.

Re: Michele31
I like the set, knobs and all. We'll probably be going with a honey colored wood, like Michelle said, but the other set under consideration was a dark wood like the one you posted. This is the bed that we're considering:

Re: Michele31
I like the whole set with the knobs and Anna is right knobs can get pricey. I did that with a hutch I refinished and added new silver knobs and they were like $1.50 or more a knob. But I like the whole thing....very pretty!

Re: Michele31
Although it's not my taste, I do like the look of the set...it's a nice combination of traditional (with the dark finish) and contemporary (with the straight, sleek lines).
Consider the space that you have to place the pieces in. Darker furniture will tend to close up a room.

Re: Michele31
I love it!!! But I am biased, we just got a set very similar to it at seamans.
If it's only the knobs that you dont like, they are the easiest thing to change.
