Been Married 6 months but the day is ruined

Today is our 6 month married Anniversary and DH and I were supposed to go out to dinner and maybe a movie - alone which is a rare thing for us.

Anyway DH and I got into a little fight this AM .. nothing big. But now he just called me from work saying he has to work late and to cancel dinner

And no hes not lying so he can suprise me.. I told him if he was trying to suprise me to forget it b/c I was really upset and wanted to know the truth. Sadly it is the truth

Oh Maxine, hopefully one isn't a response to the other. Maybe he really did get the offer for overtime/extra hours but he said yes not to be spiteful just because it's extra hours.

Wait a day or two and then bring it up and say, I was wondering maybe we could reschedule our anniversary dinner for X resturant on X day.

DH's best friend just dropped by. He was on his way to the movies with his wife, but got into a fight with her on the way, turned around- brought her back home, and then came over here.

I'm sorry hon!! That really stinks!!!
