Have any of you gone to Belize or know anyone who has gone to Belize for their HM? I have always wanted to go, but the travel agent sort of told my FH that it is NOT a honeymoon type of place, so I am now wondering why not. Any help would be appreciated.

I've been to Belize, only not for my honeymoon. I loved it so much, but can understand what your travelagent is saying. It's not a very luxurious type of place. But it's so unique and different we really couldn't help fall in love with it. There's no 5 star hotels with room service or any top notch restaurants either but it is extremely affortable,.
