Bellmore

Anyone grow up there? thinking about buying a house in Bellmore , not N. Bellmore ..can you tell me about the schools? TIA

i lived there my whole life, and I love it....right near the beach, great location, only a 45 minute express train to NYC.....the school districts are great, so that taxes are a bit high, but i love Bellmore. DH and I will be looking for a house there in a year a half when he's done with the Army

I lived in Bellmore and North Bellmore for a few years. It is a perfect place to move and start a family! People still walk down Bedford and say hello on Sunday mornings!!!

Bellmore is a wonderful town to live in. We are looking in Bellmore as well!! Its close to the beaches, it has a nice town with cute resturaunts, great schools and every town with in a 5 mile radius in each direction is safe and nice!
