Bermuda Question

Bermuda Question

Have any of you been to Bermuda? My hubby and I are trying to plan our next trip and I'm curious about Bermuda. Is there lots to do there? How is the weather and what time of the year did you go? We were thinking possible October to celebrate our first anniversary.

I went to Bermuda for my honeymoon this past October and loved it! The weather was high 70's to mid 80's. We took a 7 cruise from NY to Bermuda so we were docked on the island for 2.5 days. The beaches are beautiful (we went to Horseshoe Bay). We also swam with the dolphins at the Maritime Museum. A popular thing to do is ride scooters around the island since it's not that big. The city of Hamilton is nice to shop around and explore. Hope that helps!

Absolutely Beautiful! The weather is so nice and HOT, but we went in August to a cruise from NY straight to Bermuda. The people are very friendly, the best beach on the island is Horseshoe beach, the sands are soft and pink. There are caves in the water. Night life is great too!

According to the internet weather in October is from 72deg - 80deg. which is great!

Yes the scooters were sooo much fun! We went at night and there are soooo many stars!

We went on a cruise from NY that docked in Bermuda for 4 days. It was awesome b/c not only could we enjoy the island, but we could also take advantage of all of the cruise options as well.

We took a cruise to Bermuda. We have been to a bunch of islands and Bermuda by far is still our favorite. It is so gorgeous there, the beaches are amazing, good restaurants, the local people are so nice. We definitely want to go back but we wouldn't take a cruise there because the waters going there were rough and we were very seasick.

We took a scooter for two days and went off with a map and just explored the island on our own. This shows how safe the island is because most places you arent supposed to leave the tourist area. We wound up at a park and watched the sunset and had a barbeque with some locals who invited us!

As far as the weather, it is pretty similar to South Carolina, so you should be good until October. I know in the colder months it gets cooler there so you don't want to go in December

I have been to Bermuda 5 times and always loved it. I have gone in Feb, Aug, and Nov and always had great weather. I would suggest tons of sun block b/c I always burn there and I am not one to burn. Food is expensive if you are cooking but to go out is fine. Tips are included at all bars and restaurants. Hamilton has tons of shopping and there are so many water sports to do. I loved it and cant wait to go back. You will have so much fun!!!!

Thanks Ladies. I'm glad I got some really good feedback from you, some of the people that I have spoken to said that it was boring. So I got a little skeptical about going. Maybe it was because they were older than me (?)
