Did anyone use a birdcage cardholder? If not, how did you collect cards? If so, where did you get one? Thanks!

Re: Birdcage cardholder
I did. I borrowed it from a friend and I was so grateful that we had it. Most people put the cards in there and we avoided the mad rush huge line at the end of the reception. Some people handed us the cards personally but we could go to the cage and drop them off which was much easier than having to carrying them around.
My friend got it from Pier One.

I did it too. We had the same experience as Stef. My florist threw it in for us!

We used one. We rented it from Patchogue Floral Fantasyland.

We used one and were happy we did for all the reasons Stef mentioned.
We borrowed our from a friend who's mother bought an antique birdcage at a fleamarket and painted and decorated it.

I borrowed a friend's cage, and it worked out very well. I used silk flowers to decorate the top, but you could still slide in big cards through the slots. I had it displayed next to my cake in the corner of the reception room so everyone was able to see it.

My MOH bought me one from some website I cannot remember the name of now, will think about it...and then my aunt decorated it for me. It is now hanging in my dining room with a plant in it, I like that I could use it again!
