bittersweet Christmas...

DH and I had a great Christmas morning. We opened gifts (He even got me a necklace with a charm that says Number 1 Wife- a little cheesy but the sweetest thing EVER). I made waffles with our waffle maker.

Then he gets called into work.

It's supposed to snow tomorrow so he's helping to set up the plows. On the bright side at least he's getting paid double time and a half today.

I hear ya Colleen... Mike worked yesterday, today, and tomorrow. and monday. Glad you got to spend time with him before he went in!

John and Tommy just got called in for today... John has 7pm to 7am... so he's working now.... all night long.

John and Tommy just got called in for today... John has 7pm to 7am... so he's working now.... all night long.

They only called in like 2 guys to get the snow plows ready...he had the option of going in but since holidays are double time and a half I told him to go- he was at my parents by 6 for dinner anyway!

Bri has been working the 7AM to 7PM shift...I miss him but the money is just so nice!
