Bklyn Girls - place to hold a bridal shower?

Im a bit early with this question since my friends shower would be this time next year BUT... wondering if anyone had any ideas.

If you have them, prices would be appreciated. She has a lot of people and Im not sure who (aside from me) will be footing the bill.

Im not stuck to any one area in particular. I would like near me (park slope area) but I wouldnt care if the place was nice and a reasonable price. I think she is going to have about 50-75 guests.

There is a place near me that my friend is throwing a party next week and they are $20 person for brunch so that is an option.

Im just wondering if anyone else has some nice ideas.

My shower was in Williamsburg and it was at this great restaurant, I could find out more for you from my MOH.

I know someone who threw a bridal shower for someone in PS and I will get the info from her for you

I live in Bay Ridge and there are a lot of nice restaurants for showers. My shower was in Chadwick''s on 89th & 3rd Avenue.

Circle in Bay Ridge? Do they have a private room? There is one by me that does so i will definitely check that out, thanks.

Chadwicks is out since a) that is where my shower was held and b) the room only holds about 25 people and she will probably have 3x that number.

The place near me is called Magnolia on 6th Avenue.

My shower was 2 weeks ago at the Bay Ridge Manor.

They have either 2 or 3 private rooms and the food was fabulous!!!

My family has had quite a few parties there and they''ve all been very good experiences.

I am not sure about the one in Bay Ridge, but I know the one in Park Circle has a room for parties.

I would also look into Buckley''s it''s on avenue S in Brooklyn. It''s a bar/restaurant but it has it''s own catering room (private enterance) it''s really nice. Food is good and the price is reasonable. I believe it''s less than $20 per person for a bridal shower -- sit down dinner. It''s a big room so it can accomodate a lot of people.

My shower was held at Concetta''s on (I believe) Ave X and 86th street.

We've been to a couple of parties, showers, etc. in Bklyn...I don't have $$$$s for most...

Garguilos in Coney Island-very good Italian, parking!!, may be a little expensive. There's a great, great, great bakery next door...starts with a Z...

DH went to a pre-bachelor party at Gage and Tollner last summer. They have a big party room upstairs. He raved about the food.

Tommaso in Bensonhurst (86th St) has party room and great food. SIL hosted a party there last year-may have been about $ 30/pp.

Relish in W'burg-hip, retro diner. I think they have a party room. Fun place.

Can the Living Room (at the Pavillion) accomodate a private party? We used to love that place...the decor, the vibe, the crepes!! Seems like a fun place to hold a party.

How about the River Cafe? It's near the Brooklyn Bridge in Downtown Brooklyn. Beautiful place and good food. I know they have a party room. I've only been there for dinner so I don't know how much it would be per person.
