Ok, you know the wonderful black/white cookies you get at the bakery? Well, my sister loves them. And we're trying to put her baby shower together. She keeps saying she wants a cake with the kind of frosting they put on black/white cookies. She said she's seen it somewhere but can't remember where.
So I was thinking if I can't find that type of cake does anyone know if I would be able to get black/white cookies with pink/blue frosting to give out as favors?

I'm sure if you tell this idea to your local baker or even supermarket bakery they could come up with something for you. I'm sure they can dye the white frosting to pink or blue for the cookies. I remember seeing a cake like that stop and shop. So take a look, makes some calls. See what you can do.

IM not too sure where you live but there is a bakery in Oceanside that makes the black and white cakes. I am sure they will use the frosting...

My mom goes to the Butter Cooky Bakery in Floral Park. There is one in manhasset too. The place is AWESOME. If you call they might be able to tell you if they can do what you like. ANYTHING you buy from them is delicious. Only place I have ever bougth a cake where you SMELL the whipped cream through the box.
I like Shop Rite's cake selection-NJ supermarkets ROOCK LMAo...That and diners. I ahve never seen a B*W cake there though.

Aren't they THE BEST! Theirs is the only cream I will eat. I usually scrape cream off cakes because I am not into really sweet food, but I LOVE their whipped cream icing!
