I WAS Wondering this too...what is the difference between having a phone with internet and a blackberry besides looking important?

If you're looking to have a global phone, I'd go with the storm.

For one the screen is bigger. People have blackberries for many reasons not just for internet. You sync up your email, use certain applications a phone doesn't do, etc. Tons of reasons why. It's a mini computer basically. I don't see how it makes people look important.

my friend has the storm and it took some getting used to. I think that the most annoying thing about it is the placement of the mute button. Every time I talk to her she hits it at least two or three times and I'm like 'hello...hello' and then she's back! Other than that I don't think she has any other problems with it.

i have the world and LOVE it. no problems with it whatsoever.

like most others, I got my bberry for work and no other reason. I love it now, and the world is great because I can check email while on vacation and call my fam.

I read on Crackberry.com that The Storm was discontinued and Blackberry is reissuing a new version in September.

DH has the storm. It does take getting used to.

What happened was Verizon rushed blackberry to get it out to compete with the iphone so it wasn't 100%. They have a patch coming out for it in a month or so.

I have the curve.
