Okay so have not posted in some time. ... Still no 'aunt flo...'. I am more than 14 days late - any many HPT's later, all neg. I called my doctor and he wants to put me on something to bring on my period but I have to take a blood test first for pregnancy. Anybody done this? They said I could still be pregnant!
I am concerned now that I am so late that something might be wrong with my body. Adjusting to being off the pill I guess...but nervous nonetheless. I just cannot wait to be regular and KNOW when and if I am ovulating, etc. Sorry to bring this concern to the table - I just want everything to be normal, and now I am regretting those 11 painless years of regular periods! I know there is a small percentage of women that never get their cycle back normally....

Do not worry... After my wedding i did not get mine for 4 months...They are going to do a blood test and put you on maybe Provera... it is a hormone that will bring on your period. It is a small does and you take it untill you get it. So do not worry..FM mail me with any questions

Jenny, don't stress! I went thru a similar situation. I went off the pill and a couple of months later, no period.
All of my HPT's were negative, too. The doctor had me come in for a blood test (their tests are more sensitive than over the counter HPT), which was negative. She prescribed Provera, I went home and -bingo- got my period...before even filling the prescription. I think that I got myself so stressed out, my period was affected. Once the doctor told me everything was OK, I got it.
I haven't been 'regular' since I went off the pill...
I'm sure everything is fine. So many things can affect your period-stress, weight loss/gain, going on/off the pill.

I was 3 weeks late this month!!!! i took the tests and they all came back negative.. then right when i was going to the dr. bamm!!
try not to stress that wont help at all!

Dont stress too much! I was late for 2 months after I got off the pill. I also thought I was pregnant. My doctor said its normal not to get your period for a couple of months after you did not get your period but it can be a possibilty that I was pregnant also. I would just wait it out if I were you.

I went thru the same thing also, but they did not want to put me in the med. until I was over a month late. Two weeks later ( of agony of wondering what was going on inside of me) and I got my period also, that is after about 6 pregnancy tests and many calls to the doctor. They say it is normal, but it kind of makes you think what it really does to your body even if they say it is safe.

just as you all said! I am fine. I see my doctor next week for the Provera - I am just so eager to KNOW what my cycle is so we can start TTC at the 'best' times. So frustrating!

p.s stock up on pads and tampons when you start the provera. When you finish it.. OMG *gag* lol
