Booked our 1 Year Anniversary Trip to Disney!!!!

Our HM in Disney was totally ruined because I got really sick the wedding night, and was completely in the hotel room for 4 days! It was awful!! So we got an email for a great deal at Disney and we are going Sat June 5th-Thursday June 10th!!!! SO EXCITING!! The airfare was also dirt cheap, $89 each way!

Same here!! I am dying to go back but for some reason dh is not feeling it.. I gotta think of better ways to convince him!

Thank you all!!!! We are so freakin excited!!!!! The honeymoon was a nightmare to say the least. Poor Mike, I'm surprised he didn't leave me stranded there on the bed in the Polynesian and run for home! I was insufferable. When I got the email from Disney about the special rate they were running, I couldn't say no! We arrive on our anniversary, and we're staying 5 nights at Wilderness Lodge. That night we're eating at California Grill atop the Contemporary Resort. We timed our reservation so that we can watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks during dinner. Here's a little shhhhh secret!!! I'm going to have the Contemporary's Pastry Chef Brian make a special cake for Michael (and myself lol) for our dinner. As some of you know, the Royalton ROYALLY effed up my groom's cake, which was part of his wedding gift. I was NOT happy at all. So I'm going to have them make a mini cake version of the cake the Royalton was supposed to make. Depending on how the Mets are doing in 6 months, and how he's feeling about them (ahh the life of a Mets fan ) I will either have them make a Mets themed cake like his was supposed to be, or have them recreate a miniature of our wedding cake. Either way, this guy's cakes are awesome!!

We also made our dining reservations and planned out our park days, etc. As some of the other Disney nerds know, you really need to make your reservations way in advance. We are having some fun meals (Yay for Disney Dining Plan!) at places we've never eaten at. For example 50's Primetime Cafe, Les Chefs de France (I ate here but literally 15 years ago), Liberty Tree Tavern...CAN'T WAIT!!!! Also there are a bunch of new rides and attractions that we haven't been on, like Toy Story Mania, the American Idol Experience, haven't seen the renovations on Space Mountain. They are COMPLETELY re-doing Fantasyland so can't wait to see what type of progress they've made. Yes, I am a giant nerd.
