Can any one give me some ideas of the books they recently read and loved. I just finished reading something borrowed and something blue. I enjoyed any types of books as long as they are good. Thank you so much!

Re: Books
I agree re: Harlan Coben, although his newest book wasn't as good as some of the others.

Re: Books
Jen Lancaster's books are hysterical. I think she has 5 now. Bitter is the New Black is her first book so I'd start there.

Re: Books
I've been on a MAJOR reading kick lately since the wedding, and here are all the books I've read since then, or just before:
Twilight Series- LOVED them. But I'm a giant nerd. Not for everyone.
Entire Sookie Stackhouse Series (books 1-9 plus short story book)- Loved them maybe even more than Twilight. All except for book 1, which was supposed to be Season 1 of True Blood, but was different enough for me that it was just disorienting (I've only seen season 1 so far). I can tell the books are way better than the series will probably ever be.
Twenties Girl- Sophie Kinsella Loved this book, it actually made my cold black heart shed a few tears.
Love the One You're With- Emily Giffin This one was ok for me...was a little difficult for me to read because it hit a sore nerve with me. But it was OK.
A Total Waste of Makeup - Kim Gruenfelder Very fluffy...was a really quick read, but didn't really have enough going on for me
Shopaholic Series - Sophie Kinsella I didn't like Confessions really at all. I had to force myself to finish it. But I really liked Takes Manhattan, Ties the Knot, And Sister (not as much), and I just started And Baby last night. Overall I'd still recommend.
After I finish Shopaholic and Baby I have Baby Proof by Emily Giffin. I hope I like it better than the first one I read by her, because I want to read Something Borrowed and Something Blue because of the hype, but I can't get my hands on them at the library. My next trip to the library will be to get the Mary Janice Dickinson 'Dead' series (more vampires...shocking).
The old stand bys that are still my all time favorite are the two Bridget Jones books. And if you want something a little more serious in nature, I liked the Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons and The Master and Margherita.
HTH lol...I get excited with books.

Re: Books
Thanks Ali, Baby Proof and Love the One Your with didnt get such great reviews on amazon. I loved something borrowed and something Blue. I did read the entire Twilight Series in about 2 weeks. My DH is getting The Help for me today, which was recommended. I also read DaVinci Code and Angels and Demons.
