DH and I were supposed to go out for a nice dinner tonight after work. and we were supposed to the other night as well. But he keeps wearing shorts and a hat! And where we are going isn't near where we live- I take the train to Mineola and we would go from there. So yet again we are not going out! I know he feels bad though cus he called me from the car and I asked what he was wearing and he was like oohhh crap! Oh well we will go another time.

that's pretty much my DH's outfit too!!! he's always in a wifebeater and cargo shorts!! and if he can't wear that to a restaurant, he gets pi$$ed off. yeah, cause a wifebeater is so classy

Yea Pete is pretty good about being liek 'wahtever' but we rarely go anywhere nice enough for derssing up. We're diner people for the most part-LOVE NJ diners. But he likes to clean up when the occassion calls for it.
Actualyl we were trying to do dinner tonight but he shaved his head again for the summer and buRned the top-looks like half of it is peeling off. hThe PITA won't wear sunscreen even though he's whiter than wonderbread.

YOu should pack him some clothes, if he wears short then you bring with you what he CAN wear to dinner and make him change-granted it stinks b/c she have to carry it but at least you get your nice dinner

I just snortlaughed a little when I read 'whiter than wonderbread!' I wish it wasn't so quiet in my office cus when I laugh out loud, people look at me funny.

yeah I dont want to have to carry it to the city and then back again. LOL. I'd pack him a bag at home, but im sure he would forget it.

Lay out his clothes. My 46 year old has taken to asking me what he should wear when we go out.
Mike has these denim cargo shorts that he loves, except he looks like Farmer Joe when he wears them and I can't stand them. He does have nice shorts and shirts, but never wants to wear them. Two weeks ago we went to a bbq, and he wanted to wear the denim shorts and a t-shirt. I asked him to wear the nice shorts which he did not want to because it was a 'backyard' party. I aksed him - have you ever looked at what the OTHER guys are wearing ? 'nuff said. He wore the nice clothes. Whitebread ? My DH has the tannest head and arms from driving a bus all day, but the whitest legs I have ever seen !
